Simulation output

By default, tcsim prints a message whenever a packet is enqueued or dequeued, or when some exceptional condition (e.g. an error) occurs. This output can be post-processed to extract statistical data, or to generate a graphical representation of traffic characteristics.

tcsim can also provide more detailed information on the inner workings of the traffic control subsystem, which is useful for testing configurations and the development of new traffic control elements.
